In a remarkable achievement that underscores the transformative power of quality focused education, Pawan, a student of Government Primary School, Chaunrkhal, emerged as a national level quiz winner at the Quality Summer Funcamp 2025, an initiative of Ministry of Education, Government of India in association with National Board for Quality Promotion (NBQP) under the Quality Council of India (QCI). Competing with students from across the country, Pawan’s success stands as a proud moment not only for his school but also for government primary education, demonstrating that talent flourishes when provided with the right guidance and opportunities.

This achievement is the result of a strong ecosystem of mentorship and leadership at the school. Dr. Atul Bamrara, the guiding teacher, played a pivotal role by adopting innovative, inquiry-based, and experiential learning approaches that helped translate abstract concepts of quality, excellence, and critical thinking into meaningful learning experiences for young learners. Equally significant was the leadership of Headmaster Mr. Nanda Rawat, whose vision and consistent support fostered a culture of curiosity, discipline, and confidence within the school. Together, their efforts created an environment where students are encouraged to think independently, ask questions, and perform beyond conventional expectations.

Highlighting the significance of this initiative, Shri Sanjay Kumar, IAS, Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, shared an inspiring message. He described the Quality Summer Funcamp as an initiative that beautifully integrates quality education with creative learning, emphasizing that in today’s fast-changing world, instilling an understanding of quality and excellence from an early age is essential for building a stronger and brighter India. Referring to the theme “Quality Champions: Small Steps, Big Impact,” he noted that even the smallest contributions made by young learners can lead to transformative change in the future. He also appreciated the efforts of the NBQP team, young participants, and their families for being part of this meaningful journey.

Pawan’s national level success is more than an individual achievement; it is a powerful testament to the potential of government schools, dedicated teachers, and quality driven educational initiatives. It reinforces the belief that when children are provided with encouragement, innovative pedagogy, and a supportive learning environment, they can rise beyond limitations and achieve excellence on the national stage. This milestone serves as an inspiration for educators, policymakers, and students alike - proving that quality education truly has the power to change lives.
