Dr. Atul Bamrara Joins the National Mission for Mentoring (NMM) as Mentor

Dr. Atul Bamrara, Assistant Teacher at Government Primary School Chaunrkhal, Uttarakhand, is onboarded as a Mentor under the National Mission for Mentoring (NMM), an important national initiative envisioned in the National Education Policy 2020 (Para 15.11). The mission aims to build a strong national pool of outstanding educators, professionals, and experts who provide academic guidance, professional mentoring, and pedagogical support to school teachers across India.



The program is implemented by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Through a dedicated online mentoring platform, experienced mentors work with teachers from different regions of the country and support them through structured short-term and long-term mentoring engagements. The initiative focuses on strengthening classroom practices, promoting innovative pedagogy, and supporting teachers in implementing reforms envisioned under NEP 2020.



As a mentor in the National Mission for Mentoring, Dr. Bamrara contributes his extensive experience in classroom innovation, teacher professional development, and digital education. Over the years, he has actively worked in areas such as AI enabled teaching, e-content creation, experiential learning approaches, and the use of technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. His work emphasizes joyful learning, activity-based teaching, and the integration of digital tools in everyday classroom practices.



Dr. Bamrara is widely recognized for his contributions to educational technology and innovative teaching practices. His efforts focus on empowering teachers to adopt modern pedagogical approaches, integrate technology meaningfully in classrooms, and strengthen foundational learning among students. Through mentoring, he supports educators in developing practical classroom strategies, improving lesson design, and fostering collaborative learning environments.


The onboarding of Dr. Bamrara as a mentor under NMM reflects recognition of his professional expertise and commitment to strengthening school education.
