Today, our school proudly organized Constitution Day within the school premises to honor the adoption of the Indian Constitution and pay tribute to the visionary leaders who framed it. The entire atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, respect, and patriotic spirit. The celebration began with a special morning assembly. After a brief introduction about the importance of the day, students and teachers together chanted Vande Mataram, which filled the campus with a sense of unity and pride. The powerful chant set a perfect tone for the day’s events.
Mrs Nanda Rawat, Head of the School then addressed the gathering and highlighted the core constitutional values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. This was followed by the collective reading of the Preamble, reminding everyone of their responsibility to uphold the ideals of the nation.
“WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC
and to secure to all its citizens:
JUSTICE, social, economic and political;
LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;
EQUALITY of status and of opportunity;and to promote among them all
FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation;
IN OUR CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY this twenty-sixth day of November, 1949,do HEREBY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION.”
The program ended with inspirational words from Dr Atul Bamrara by encouraging students to follow constitutional values in their daily lives and become responsible citizens of the country. Overall, today’s Constitution Day celebration was a meaningful and memorable event that strengthened our respect for the nation and its guiding principles.
